The Illinois Property Assessment Institute offers several different scholarships for students with a financial need. Most scholarships are limited to one per year per jurisdiction. Students with a financial need are encouraged to apply for a scholarship by completing the Scholarship Application Form on the following page and sending it to the IPAI office. Prior to applying, check the requirements to determine if you qualify. You will receive approval or denial via mail.

Covers full tuition to an IPAI course plus $100.00 for travel expenses. Limited to one per jurisdiction per year.
Requirements: Employed by an Illinois assessment jurisdiction. Financial need |

Requirements: Illinois assessing official taking an IAAO course sponsored by the IPAI |

Covers full tuition to an IPAI course
Requirements: Illinois assessing official working towards a professional designation |
| Cook County Township Township Assessors Association Scholarship |
Provides $250.00 towards travel expenses for an IPAI course. Limited to 2 per year.
Requirements: Must be a downstate assessing official |
| Assessment Opportunity Scholarship |
Covers full tuition to an IPAI Qualifying course. Limited to 5 per year.
Requirements: Enrolled in courses to obtain the Certified Illinois Assessing Officer Designation. Successful completion of one course towards the designation |
| Illinois Assessors Association Scholarship |
Provides $250.00 towards an IPAI qualifying course
Requirements: Enrolled in courses to obtain the Certified Illinois Assessing Officer Designation. Must be filling an assessment jurisdiction vacancy once qualified. Financial need |
