The Illinois Property Assessment Institute offers several different scholarships for students with a financial need. Most scholarships are limited to one per year per jurisdiction. Students with a financial need are encouraged to apply for a scholarship by completing the Scholarship Application Form and sending it to the IPAI office. Prior to applying, check the requirements to determine if you qualify. You will receive approval or denial via mail.

Covers full tuition to an IPAI course plus $100.00 for travel expenses. Limited to one per jurisdiction per year. Requirements: Employed by an Illinois assessment jurisdiction. Financial need |

Covers full tuition to an IPAI Qualifying course. Limited to 5 per year.
Requirements: Enrolled in courses to obtain the Certified Illinois Assessing Officer Designation. Successful completion of one course towards the designation |
| Illinois Assessors Association Scholarship |
Provides $250.00 towards an IPAI qualifying course Requirements: Enrolled in courses to obtain the Certified Illinois Assessing Officer Designation. Must be filling an assessment jurisdiction vacancy once qualified. Financial need |
| Cook County Assessors Association Scholarship |
Provides $100.00 for travel expenses limited to one per jurisdiction per year.
